Questions before you start?

Can I use this as a private tutor?

Yes. Your school can be just you and your students. Use your own name and branding, assign work to individual students, and add classes or teachers when you need them.

What can I try for free?

Create your branded school website and dashboard, manage inquiries, and teach up to 3 active students. The free plan includes three tests and free practice questions. No payment method is needed; paid plans add more student places and the full test and practice library.

Where do new inquiries go?

Students and parents who sign up on your school website appear in Incoming with their contact information, SAT goals, prep timeline, message, and diagnostic results. Send a follow-up email, then accept them as an active student when they enroll.

What does viewing a student save?

When you click View on a student or class, you teach from their account. The questions you work through together and the drawings, calculator work, and corrections you save stay with each student, and they can find your corrections later with Teacher Reviewed in History.

How do teacher and admin permissions differ?

Admins always see every incoming and active student and every class in full. Teachers don’t have the Incoming, Staff, or School tabs, only see the students and classes assigned to them, and can’t see student contact information.

What happens when a student is removed from my school?

They keep their history and progress. They can sign in to their account on skoon.io and continue on the self-study platform.
